You like horror? Well, Deadman’s Tome will be serving up some deep fried horror they’ll be coming back for more. But there’s a problem, we need cooks. We have an empty kitchen and the dinner is filling up with people.

Deadman’s Tome released a free to read ezine back in September and October and the response has been very positive. We’re talking over hundreds of reads, almost thousands of people reading the content. Why do I tell you this? So you know that your stories won’t be going to waste.
Deadman’s Tome is calling for submissions for a Cthulhu Christmas Special. We’re looking for original short stories and flash fiction pieces (2-5k words) that blend Cthulhu and Christmas with a dash of Lovecraftian prose. If you have something that would meet this criteria, then please send to firstname.lastname@example.org. What do you get in return? Well, you get the that warm feeling that comes with being a part of something special. More importantly, though, you’ll earn royalties from paperback and ebook purchases of the finish product.
Hurry as we’re approaching the deadline: November 15, 2017.
We’re also looking for raw real stories of America’s underworld, real stories from real people that are going through real life horrors. For example, stories of suffering from addiction, living in the slums of Chicago, or life as victim of sex trafficking.

Deadman’s Tome is open for submissions for it’s March 2017 issue entitled The Ancient Ones. March 15th marks the death of H. P. Lovecraft and it would only be fitting to dedicated an issue to the legend that created the Cthulhu mythos.

Deadman’s Tome is calling for submissions for its February issue titled No Safe Word.
No Safe Word is themed around dark erotica with an element of horror and bizarre. Submissions should be approximately 1000 words. Deadline is January 25th. However, the call for submissions may close early if I’m flooded with quality work. So, send your submissions as soon as possible.

We are calling for submissions for a vampire themed horror writing contest in which the readers get to decide the winner. The rules are simple: Original story (no reprints), no multiple submissions (it was allowed before, but this isn’t a lottery), story must be both horror and vampire-themed (no teen drama stories. I will burn them.), within 9,000 words or less, and lastly tailored for a mature audience.
The winner of the contest will receive a $100 gift card to Amazon. The runner-ups will be featured in the Deadman’s Tome podcast.
The stories will be presented on the blog as soon as they’re screened, and winners will be determined by a mixture of comments and likes.
