Murder Suicides

Murders, suicides, and brutal savagery claims more lives than you may think. With over hundreds of thousands of lives claimed every year, its an indisputable fact that it’s not uncommon for heated arguments to lead to heated death. While this is not just an American thing, it’s a very real horror, a very real reality that permeates American society.

While most fiction create fictitious worlds to distract from the brutal reality, Real American Horror dares to do the opposite. Deadman’s Tome Real American Horror dares to explore the dark underbelly of American lives. Every story is based on real life events, based on truths that are much more horrific than anything you could make up. Crib-side murder suicides, Zika viruses, torture, abduction, and meth addicts. This grim anthology paints a very bleak, but very important image.

Monsters Exist Out Now!

From the time we are young, we fear the monster under the bed or in the closet, making it impossible to sleep without a nightlight. Then, we hear stories of Bigfoot, and maybe even the Mothman around campfires. When we are adults, we wonder if there might actually be supernatural creatures lurking in the shadows. Are these tall tales and urban legends only metaphors for what horrific things humanity is capable of—or do monsters exist?

Go to some terrifying places with this cast of authors. You will be dragged into mystifying realities where demonic fairies hide, where devil monkeys lure carnival-goers to their demise, where Goatmen seek to destroy their prey, and where the goddess of death puts out a hit on victims of her choice. These shocking tales will have you biting your nails and locating that childhood nightlight. Because, in the end, we all know monsters do exist.

March To The Grave!

HorrorsofWarcover1
Read Today

The warmongers are beating on drums, rattling sabers, and thirst for blood. A terror attack hits us at home, hits our allies, hits our friends. Fear scorches the flesh of a wounded heart, and anger grows inside, infecting, corrupting. We’re marching towards war, another world war, yet we’re actually already at war. Military forces are active in foreign lands, bullets are fired, bombs are dropped, and bodies… the bodies of men, women, and children collect.

Don’t contort my words, I know why we fight. I know why we feel that it’s right and even justified. I understand the complexity and not defecating on those that serve. Those that believe that in sacrificing their lives, they can make other lives better. To them, I say, I hope that one day it does, too. March to the Grave is not anti-war, it’s not pro-war, it’s a grim reminder of the horrors that follow, a reminder that war is a destructive all consuming beast of man’s creation that can, if left unchecked, devour all that is living.

Pete Clark, David J. Wing, Gary Robbe, Gerry Huntman, Phoebe Reeves-Murray, Deborah Sheldon, and Christopher Pulo all did a wonderful job illustrating the horrors of war. Because of that, March to the Grave is the darkest and most cynical issue of Deadman’s Tome, yet.

March to the Grave is available on Amazon Kindle and can be read for free through Kindle Unlimited. March to the Grave goes for $2.99 but will be available for Free Memorial Day weekend (Sat – Mon).

Only the cover is censored, I did that so that you’re mom won’t freak. Horrgasm is like a mix tap of some of graphic, NSFW, sexualized stories. Horrgasm has that dirty punk, rough indie feel to it. It’s loaded with content your parents would not want you to read, and best of all it’s free. Well, for a limited time, anyway.

Get Horrgasm or be a prude.

Facebook Doesn’t Want You to Read This!

Not making this up, folks. Deadman’s Tome HORRGASM, a horror anthology with six titillating tales of provocative horror, cannot be promoted on Facebook. Not only that, but because I somehow circumvented their promotion system, I am banned from using Facebook ads!

Why? Because apparently Facebook deems HORRGASM pornographic, which is odd, because it’s just text. There aren’t any graphic images in the ebook. It’s literally a collection of short stories and nothing more. I will admit that the original cover was graphic, but I even went against my own principles and censored it. But it did not make a difference. I tried talking with a Facebook representative and he told me that Facebook is not a platform for porn and smut. I tried to convince him to read the material, but he never got back with me.

It get’s worse. Apparently, if you try to search for Deadman’s Tome HORRGASM on Amazon it will not show up. It is not even listed, but the book is active on my side. Just what is Facebook and Amazon trying to keep from you? Read it for yourself using this link.

Deadman’s Tome Book of Horrors II Review

Format: Kindle Edition

A surprisingly strong collection of dark, often extreme horror, Deadman’s Tome Book of Horrors II is a slender sampling of the genre. There are stories of both supernatural and human horror contained herein, all said to be torn from a cursed tome that has driven men to madness, murder, and more.

The Valley of Sex by Joseph Rubas was an early favorite for me, a vintage pulp-style horror/adventure story in the vein of Howard and Lovecraft, with some nasty supernatural sex deep within subterranean ruins. DOSE by Marc Shapiro was an odd one, with some really stellar moments (the insatiable whore with no face upon her smooth, egg-like face stands out for me), but I expected something more from the climax.

The Chasm Bridged by Carson Winter was another favorite, a haunted house story that effectively shocks with what you can’t see, before taking an unexpected twist. Easily the most human, most contemporary story in the collection, An Identity For Sam Piles by Spinster Eskie is also the most surprising, in that it effectively humanizes a monster, and starts building our empathy before ever engaging our disgust.

The next three stories fell flat for me, but the collection ends on a high note with a pair of Jack the Ripper tales. The Woman in Red by B Thomas was my favorite of the two, giving us a very sad, yet somewhat sexy motivation for the murders, while The Adler Street Boarding House by Kel y Evans takes a more subtle approach, setting up a soft climax that teases a fictional parallel with Edgar Allan Poe.

While it doesn’t sustain the erotic shock value of the first two tales, Deadman’s Tome Book of Horrors II is a better collection for branching out and really delving deep into the depravity of the genre.

THE WOMAN IN RED opens with a lusting and blood thirsty couple hell bent to outshine Jack the Ripper.

Take a bizarre road trip delivering talking heads with a hot blonde with a twisted past in HEAD TRIP.

DOSE goes through hookers and drugs faster than Charlie Sheen, explores the S&M scene, while delivering a haunting climax.

SEX TOY plays with an odd, foreign and blasphemous sex curio that takes a couple’s love life to a whole new level.

TOUCH ME, I’M SICK warns of a grave consequence no lustful adulterer would ever want to pay.

Lastly, THE VAMPIRE NYMPH wraps up the anthology with sizzling vampire sex served with a cold dish of irony.

Horror So Good It Just Might Kill

Read Today

Book of Horrors, available on Amazon Kindle, consists of ten solid terrifying horror stories and is absolutely perfect for those that enjoy a good scare. But readers should take caution. It should be of no surprise that a horror collection titled Book of Horrors would contain stories and passages from a cryptic source. A source that could be traced back to the disappearance of the Mayans, the fall of Rome, and the rise of the occult. The people involved in discovering the ancient source material suffered intense migrans, demonic hallucinations, and some even took their own lives.

Book of Horrors features chilling tales of cold-blooded murder, demonic possessions, zombie apocalypse, invasive body parasites, and much more. Each story tells a self-contained narrative with its own unique theme and influences.

Whether your taste for horror is H. P. Lovecraft, Stephen King, or Tales from the Crypt, Book of Horrors is an essential horror anthology that’ll leave you haunted.

There are two ways for horror fiends to get their hands on Book of Horrors. Book of Horrors can be purchased from Amazon for $2.99 and read on Kindle, e-reader, or even modern phones.

Or, horror readers can have access to Book of Horrors, along with other horror anthologies, by pledging a dollar ($1) on Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/deadmanstome
