Operation Choke Point and Free Speech

Mr. Deadman, SK, and Wess talk about Operation Choke Point and what it means for Freedom of Speech. Operation Choke Point was passed under Obama’s administration and it gave the FDIC the power to tell banks to cut ties with certain businesses or people based on “high-risk” which can be influenced by a number of factors including personal bias.

Freedom of Speech is a protected right in America, but politicians actively try to get around it. How do you feel about certain people not allowed to say mean things? What if what you said was deemed mean later on? Both these questions are silly, because it doesn’t matter what you think. It’s a right, and if you respect that right you would defend it.
